Oh My!!

Oh dear–it’s been a long time since I’ve been doing this.  My computer had been taken over by a virus, but it is fixed now, and that could be my excuse for not updating in ages. But it’s really not.  That would have set me back a few days, but not this long.  My computer sits here in a corner of my kitchen, constantly calling my name.  And there was so much that I could have posted about.  The AWANA closing, but Jenn covered that so well that I decided not to.  Travis’s orientation day at school.  But we were too busy talking about it, and how much he enjoyed it, to sit down and post about it.  Ray’s apprenticeship graduation dinner and ceremony at the Digby Pines last weekend.  Fabulous time, great food.  The bloody nose I gave Mackenzie when I hit her with the doorknob.  Travis’s now green face from being hit above the eye with a baseball bat.  The lesson Darian learned at school about not borrowing things from your friends even if they tell you you can.  The trip to the city with Cheryl and Kelly earlier in the week.  It’s all blog-worthy material.  There’s some great stories there.  But honestly, I’m too busy living the life to always be sitting down and blogging about it.

I’m not giving up on my blog yet.  I still find it therapeutic.  And I do still enjoy it.  But the past few weeks have been very full–and not just with things to do, but with things in the mind, and mostly in the heart. Things are changing around here at the Pressing On house, one little thing at a time.  We’re getting more organized, healthier, and most importantly, closer to our God.

One step at a time, one day at a time. But most days, updating my blog just doesn’t fit in.

Digby Pines dinner. Sounds very nice. I can’t remember the last time must Marty and I went out for dinner, good idea. 🙂

Really enjoyed your post – always glad when another Christian mom takes the time to give a glimpse into her family’s daily life.
