Randomness beginning with “why?”

Why is it that the pitcher of juice can sit on the counter for hours, untouched,  but as soon as I put it in the fridge someone will be out looking for a glass of it?

Why can I leave the floor without mopping it for a week or more, but as soon as I mop it, within the hour someone will spill something on it?

Why is it that no one will want to play with the kitten (or puppy, or whatever), but as soon as one child does, then all want to and end up fighting over it?

Why did I not realize that sitting in a cold arena to watch Darian skate would probably not be the greatest idea today? (I hurt even more now!)

Why when I keep the kids up later so they’ll sleep in in the morning, they never do?

Why does it take longer to get the kids ready to go outside than they actually stay out? (on some days!)

Kim: These are age old questions that all mothers ask. Just remember all to soon you will be wishing that they would still be young and running through the house making a little noise. They grow so quickly and all these things will seem so trival. But they always seem worse with a little PMS. We prayed for you yesterday in sunday school and I’m glad you are feeling a little better. God Bless and don’t be discouraged. Love Mrs. B.
